The 48 Hour Film Project, the largest filmmaking competition in the world, is coming back to Indianapolis!

Calling All Filmmakers!

In a wild, sleepless weekend, you and your team will make a short movie from scratch - that is: writing, shooting and editing in only 48 hours. On Friday, August 1, you'll get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. By Sunday, August 3, the movie must be complete. Each completed film is guaranteed a screening at Tobias Theater at IMA in the following week.

Registration Opens Soon!

Registration will open on May 28, 2014. So get your teams together, come up with a name for yourselves and plan on signing up soon based on these dates and prices:

EARLY BIRD registration: May 28- July 7 for $140

REGULAR registration: July 8- July 22 for $160

LATE registration: July 23  - August 1 for $175

Registration fee is per team, not per person, and includes TWO FREE TICKETS to the screenings, which you will receive just before the screening.

Why Make A 48 Hour Film?

You'll meet other local filmmakers, spend 48 hours in intense movie making, have your film screened at Tobias Theater at IMA, and compete to represent Indianapolis against the other 48HFP cities around the world! The top films from around the world screen each year at the Cannes Film Festival.
