Indianapolis native Logan Huffman who appears as Tyler Evans on ABC's new series "V" will appear this weekend at Starbase Indy.

Starbase Indy is proud to announce the addition of a new guest.  Logan Huffman, a resident of Indianapolis, and star on the exciting new series V has agreed to join us this Thanksgiving weekend.  Logan will be available all weekend and will appear on stage for a Q & A Sunday at 11 AM.

Born as a triplet on December 22, 1989, Logan Huffman was special from the beginning.  His parents, a solid Midwestern couple, instilled a strong work ethic in their son at an early age.  At 16 years old he restored his first car -- a '56 Mercury, which he then sold to pay for acting lessons.

Huffman entered the Gattelypoole Acting Intensive hosted at Northern Illinois University to study with Master Meisner teacher Katherine Gattely. Excelling quickly, he moved to New York at 17 to start pursuing his dreams.

A few months later, he got a small part in "Lymelife," the critically acclaimed indie film starring Emma Roberts, followed soon after by a lead part in Rosie O'Donnell's movie of the week, "AMERICA."

Starbase Indy is a fan run science fiction convention. It will take place November 27-29 2009 at the Indianapolis Marriott East. For more information visit their website. http://www.starbaseindy.com/

CARMEL, Ind. – Award Winning Filmmaker Christopher Allen has announced the title of his company’s next film production, a fan based production titled “Fall of Gotham”, along the lines of the successful “The Dark Knight” and “Batman Begins” films.

Carmel based RACSO Motion Pictures is targeting 2010 as to when principal photography will begin. “I chose the present incarnation of Batman as the foundation because the story line and characters offer a rich wealth of emotional and inspiring story arcs.” said Allen from his Carmel based studio. “I believe fan films are a credible way of getting filmmakers’ and actors abilities noticed in today’s over saturated market.” added Allen. “This will be my third venture in this venue, and I’ve had more worldwide exposure from these efforts than any of my originally produced content.”

Allen is introducing two new characters from the DC comic vault, the popular Wonder Woman and the vile Harley Quinn as the films polar opposites in the ongoing struggle for the soul of Gotham City. “Adding these two extraordinary characters will bring a unique twist to the story. The biggest challenge will be presenting Wonder Woman in a realistic and believable fashion as Chris Nolan did with the Batman character in ‘Batman Begins’” said Allen.
