CARMEL, Ind. – RACSO Motion Pictures has announced a general casting call to all interested candidates for the fan-based production titled “Fall Of Gotham”. Production is scheduled to begin over the summer of 2010, and stars NBC’s American Gladiator Jamie “Fury” Reed.

The fan-based production follows in the style and motif of the last two Batman films, and introduces a beloved DC Comic Character, Wonder Woman, to the modern day Gotham City. Writer/Director Christopher Allen says that Wonder Woman is a “reboot” of the celebrated character, and is given an entirely new look in “Fall of Gotham”.

“Fanfilms, or what I like to call ‘fan based productions’, are a great way for actors to be seen.” said Christopher Allen, producer of the award winning Star Trek vs. Batman film.  “In this business, its about exposure and getting seen.  It’s a win-win situation for everyone.” Allen went on to add.  The positions are non-union and with no pay.

Originally from Madison, Indiana, Allen has been actively involved in the Indiana film scene since launching RACSO in 1993.  His previous films include “Quantum Leap: A Leap To Di For”, “A Time for the Heart”, and “Star Trek vs. Batman” (*First place winner of the RadCon Film Festival in Seattle, WA).  Jamie “Fury” Reed-Kovac from NBC’s American Gladiator has agreed to star in this film, and Allen hopes to attract one more name to the show. “Just a few years ago, fan based productions were generally laughed at and amateurish. Now, they’ve attained a huge amount of credibility considering it takes the studios two to three years to turn around content.” said Allen.
